A Day in the Life

You will join the Heerlen 3 Warehouse Management team as a WM Area Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse management operations with a strong focus on operator performance and execution. In close coordination with WM Admins, you will align priorities to ensure activities are completed accurately and on time.

You will track the progress of assigned tasks, identify deviations, and initiate or support corrective actions where needed. Through regular Gemba walks, you will proactively identify safety, quality, and operational risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Perform daily Warehouse Management (WM) activities within the assigned area

Oversee WM picking, packing, and staging activities to meet operational standards

Monitor stock accuracy and escalate discrepancies when identified

Facilitate the daily WM activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

Act as a team lead, supporting the supervisor/manager in coordinating day-to-day operations

Ensure the performance board and action tracker are updated and accurate

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and service levels

Train and coach team members, delegate tasks, and review work quality while providing clear direction to ensure operational excellence.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Practical experience and knowledge of warehouse management and logistics operations

English communication skills, both written and verbal

Computer literacy (MS-Office Outlook, Excel, Word)

Strong sense of responsibility and flexibility to take on additional tasks when required

Able to prioritize and work under pressure / cope with stressful situations, customer-focused and service-oriented.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Netherlands: 39,200.00 EUR – 58,800.00 EUR | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
