At GXO Heerlen, we're looking for a strong operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving performance, and leading large-scale warehouse operations.
This is more than a typical Warehouse Shift Supervisor role. You'll take responsibility for a department of 100-150 employees, leading through 6 Team Leaders while ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and employee engagement remain at the highest level.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Team Leaders and 100-150 warehouse colleagues
- Drive operational performance, productivity, and KPI achievement
- Manage performance, attendance, and behavioural challenges on the warehouse floor
- Create a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with planning, engineering, and operational stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations
What you'll bring
- At least 3 years of leadership experience within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or 3PL
- Experience managing large teams through Team Leaders or Supervisors
- Strong people leadership and performance management skills
- A hands-on approach and passion for operational excellence
- Fluent English; Dutch is a plus
- Flexibility to work a 2-shift schedule (06:00-15:00 / 15:00-00:00)
