What you do on a typical day

  • Manage team performance; develop associates by providing training and coaching
  • Manage a team of coordinators both FTE and Flex staff
  • Instruct, inform, and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI’s and productivities)
  • Maintain a safe work environment with a positive team dynamic
  • Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
  • Make recommendations regarding new hires, terminating contracts, performance evaluations and promotions
  • Ensure that documents work instructions of processes are up to date and are being followed by the department
  • Continually strive to improve the processes of your department

What do you need to succeed at GXO

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, within Logistics
  • You have good communication skills at multiple levels in English, Dutch is an added advantage
  • You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude with a self-starting ability
  • You have good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality
  • The ability to quickly understand processes and continuously improve them
  • A motivating leadership style that energizes and engages larger teams
  • Flexibility to work in a 2‑shift system (6:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00), including alternate Saturdays, within a 40‑hour working week
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude with a creative mind
