Within this role you ensure high quality service interventions. You support a portfolio of over 400 different pieces of equipment, within a scope of over 125 countries. Ensuring that every service intervention we perform meets the high-quality standards we conduct within Medtronic.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic and/or mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
- Contributes to improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
- Helps create a clean, organized, and efficient work environment by focusing on six key principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety
- Takes Household rules, Code of Conduct and EHS procedures into account, to guarantee optimum work conditions
- Relationship building and tight cooperation with other employees, within the international environment of the S&R Centre of Excellence.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Electronics or Mechanical
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- English (speaking/reading/writing)
- Attention to details
- Quality mindset
- Ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings.
