From our 10,000 m2 warehouse we ship an average of 1,950 deliveries per day (745,000 units per month) to hospitals, Abbott distributors and Abbott affiliates in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America. Every day, more than 150 employees in our warehouse and in supporting departments work on processing customer orders, maintaining a high service level to ensure that our customers receive the right products on time. Abbott Vascular Netherlands offers a complete and high standard of excellence as a distribution center /p h3PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION /h3 ul liYou are the mentor of workstreams within Abbott Vascular, by your knowledge of our processes. You make sure to work in the most efficient way to meet business targets. /li liYou will apply Project Management techniques, be responsible for planning and devising/adapting methods to implement and improve warehousing production. /li liYou are quality-focused and support AVN within audits to explain how our processes function, including the supporting quality documents. You are also responsible for maintaining/creating and reviewing our quality procedures. /li liAssure adherence and keep AVN site up to the required standard of the environmental management system requirements. /li /ul h3MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES /h3 ul liIdentify and implement activities leading to new or improved products, processes systems to meet strategic goals and company objectives. Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings. /li liLead exceptions according to quality standards defined by Abbott (CAPA). /li liAnalyze and solve problems from basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts through to advanced and complex problems requiring innovative approaches or breakthroughs in technology. /li liUnderstand engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and techniques. /li liIncorporate business policies and procedures into task completion. Understand business needs and customer needs. /li liCultivate internal and external network resources to complete tasks. May lead project teams, determining goals and objectives. Mentors employees by sharing expertise and giving feedback and guidance. /li liInteract cross-functionally and with internal/external customers.
