Working as a Control Room Automation Manager (BSM) – Heerlen

For our new and growing site in Heerlen , working for a well-known Global Fashion brand, we are looking for a Control Room Automation Manager (BSM).
What are you going to do as a Control Room Automation Manager (BSM)
As a Control Room Automation Manager your main responsibility will be coordinating all the automated processes within the warehouse, that includes all departments, from inbound to departures , from the distribution centre and monitoring them, to allocate a proper way of the workload (automation).
You also manage the control room team and supervise them regarding their daily tasks, good communication lines with the operations and all departments involved in all distribution activit ies , as well as the transport companies.
Other responsibilities:
- Manag ing a team of process controllers and WCS key users
- Organizing the departures from the distribution centre based on SLA Agreements
- Check with the operations is the sortation process is going well to reach our departures
- Stakeholder management with the Customer department to achieve the objectives
- Management of incidences
- Stakeholder management with all the parties involved in the supply chain
- Continuous improvement and optimization of costs together with Business Support to identify opportunities to improve
- Etc.

Job requirements:
- You have a bachelor’s degree/HBO in related fields or engineering
- You have a master in Logistics or Supply Chain
- You have a mi n imum of 5 year of experience in automation
- You have high Knowledge of Logistics / supply chain
- You are fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You are committed to deliver high quality work and you have a professional critical attitude
- You are self-driven, result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
- You are skillful in planning, conflict analysis and resolution
- You are alert, precise, flexible, can cope with stress and have a problem-solving ability
