Accounts Payable Intern

What will you be doing :

As an Accounts Payable Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world accounting environment. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various aspects of accounts payable, helping you develop essential skills for a successful career in finance.

Your main activities:

Assist in processing invoices and expense reports

Perform invoice matching and approval handling

Exception handling: liaise with relevant parties (buyers, requestors and suppliers, to resolve critical invoice discrepancies

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate payment processing

Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

What you bring:

Current enrollment at a Dutch school in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (knowledge of QAD is a plus)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

English and Dutch language skills

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
