Your mission
At Phenospex we make farming better for our planet by developing cutting-edge digital plant phenotyping solutions. We are looking for an ambitious, creative and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts. As our Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Phenospex’s marketing strategy to elevate our brand, attract high-quality leads and support our growth goals. You will play a key role in defining marketing plans, managing content creation, optimizing digital presence and working cross-functionally with product, sales and HR teams. Your mission is to build a strong, unified marketing presence and drive tangible results for the company.
What you’ll do:

Strategic Leadership: Lead the global marketing function and develop / implement global marketing strategies that are aligned with Phenospex’s overall business goals to drive growth.

Digital & Social Media: Manage and grow Phenospex’s social media presence, website and other digital marketing channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our audience. Lead the creation of high-quality content.

SEM & SEA: Oversee SEM and SEA strategies to enhance Phenospex’s digital visibility and generate quality inbound leads.

Process Optimization: Streamline communication processes between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, utilizing marketing automation tools to maximize efficiency and engagement.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials comply with Phenospex’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a remote marketing specialist and collaborate with external agencies to amplify marketing campaigns and drive successful outcomes.

Travel: Occasionally travel (approx. 5%) to attend industry events and connect with teams and partners.
Your profile

Educational Background: Master’s degree in marketing & communications or plant science / related field with proven marketing experience.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or content management, including SEM and SEA expertise. Experience leading a (remote) team.

Skills: Expertise in digital marketing, storytelling, content creation, managing multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, print) and successfully driving projects.

Technical Proficiency: Skills in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or other creative tools (Canva, video editing software).

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to translate complex scientific and technical content into clear, engaging messages for our target audience.

Creative & Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills, creativity and critical thinking abilities to drive innovative marketing solutions.
