As a CAE Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and advancing mechanical simulation activities throughout the complete product lifecycle of automotive display products. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, providing technical expertise during both quotation and development phases. Through simulation-driven engineering, you will help create robust product designs and continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies.

What will you do?

  • Perform mechanical CAE analyses and simulations to support product development activities.
  • Optimize mechanical and thermal display designs based on simulation and validation results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout product development projects.
  • Develop and improve simulation methodologies, standards, and workflows to enhance product performance and engineering efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in product robustness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support design decisions through finite element analysis (FEA) and product validation activities.

    You are an analytical and results-driven engineer with a strong passion for product development, innovation, and simulation-based engineering. You thrive in multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and take ownership of your technical expertise. You can influence technical direction and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

    In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical CAE simulations and finite element analysis.
  • Experience with ANSA, META and/or LS-DYNA is highly preferred.
  • Experience with CAD software, preferably Creo, is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Thermal CFD is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
