What you do on a typical day
- Manage team performance; develop associates by providing training and coaching
- Manage a team of coordinators both FTE and Flex staff
- Instruct, inform, and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI’s and productivities)
- Maintain a safe work environment with a positive team dynamic
- Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
- Make recommendations regarding new hires, terminating contracts, performance evaluations and promotions
- Ensure that documents work instructions of processes are up to date and are being followed by the department
- Continually strive to improve the processes of your department
What do you need to succeed at GXO
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, within Logistics
- You have good communication skills at multiple levels in English, Dutch is an added advantage
- You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude with a self-starting ability
- You have good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality
- The ability to quickly understand processes and continuously improve them
- A motivating leadership style that energizes and engages larger teams
- Flexibility to work in a 2‑shift system (6:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00), including alternate Saturdays, within a 40‑hour working week
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with a creative mind
